Our Customer is King

Because our business is run by a fisherman for fishermen, we have no need to stick to the rigid rules of the big impersonal tour operators. Each fishing holiday is designed around the individual customer, and their preferences, because we love the sport as much as they do.

The prices are based on 2 people fishing, with B&B accommodation at the Rainbow Beach Lodge for seven nights. Flights are not included, as we believe customers now prefer to book their own flights by searching the web. We include airport transfers, personal guide, tackle, bait, and the use of boats, kayaks and any other equipment required. Additionally we offer the use of a 4x4 jeep with driver, for evening trips to restaurants/bars at no extra cost. All you need to do is book your own flight.

Other accommodation options are available  such as Villas, 4*&5* hotels, self catering apartments, we are happy to arrange these on your behalf. Equally if you would prefer to book a package deal including accommodation from one of the tour companies we will reduce our price accordingly.

The Rainbow Lodge is our preferred choice of accommodation for several reasons, location, ambiance, friendly staff, good food. Located in South Gambia on the spectacular Paradise Beach you can virtualy fish from the bar, it is unspoilt Africa with none of the hassle associated with the tourist areas. Yet it is close enough ( 30 mins drive) to the nightspots of Senegambia. It also puts you closer to most of our preferred fishing grounds, without wasting good trolling time by driving. 

The owner Jowla and his people go out of their way to make you welcome, and are delighted to cook some of your catch any evening for dinner. Just imagine sitting at your table on the beach beside an open fire, listening to the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean lapping the shore, while the chef prepares a red snapper you caught that afternoon. Add a nice chilled wine, the darkest star filled sky, and the sound of crickets, life doesn't get any better. If you are really sad, we can even give you a couple of beach rods, for a bit of night fishing after dinner. Although in reality after a day in the tropical sun, battling big Barracuda, you will most likely choose an early night dreaming of what tomorrow may bring.
