Sanyang Creek Paradise Beach £35 per person.
Paradise Beach in South Gambia is 10 miles of unspoiled, uncrowded golden sands with a couple of beach bars, and the most wonderful surf fishing. Your guide in a go anywhere Wrangler 4 x 4 Jeep will take you to where Sanyang Creek flows into the sea. The incoming tide floods this creek which is teaming with baitfish and wildlife, as the tide turns many of these small fish are swept into the sea by the strong current. The predators that gather offshore make this location among the best in Gambia. Each angler is given the use of two beach rods, and a choice of prawn, squid, bonga, or live bait, as well as a surf spinning rod.Our Jeeps carry a coolbox, sun brollies, folding chairs. In fact everything you will require for a fantastic day beach fishing. Lunch can be taken at the Rainbow Lodge for a couple of pounds, or your guide can collect a take away.
Border River Estuary £40 per person :
At the border with Senegal this is one of Africa's finest rivers, and we fish the beaches where the river flows into the Atlantic Ocean. Travel time to the border is around 40mins from the main tourist areas at Kololi and Senegambia, but well worth the journey. Normally each angler would fish two bait rods into the surf, while lure fishing in the big pool at the mouth of the river. Predicting what you catch is virtually impossible, but could include Barracuda, Crevalle, Tuna, Grouper, Ray, Captainfish, Tarpon, and all the other usual suspects.
Full Day Kayak Fishing :
Kayak fishing has taken off internationally, these modern craft are extremely stable allowing even a novice to comfortably fish in open sea. At Wild Gambia we are the first people to introduce Kayaks to the country. These eco friendly Emotion Mojo Kayaks are fully fitted with spinning and bait rods, coolbox and all the tackle required. During your trip you will be accompanied by a fully trained guide, to ensure your personal safety.

Border River Safari £50 per person :
We start this adventure in the big pool at the mouth of the River at Casamance anchored and bottom fishing with livebait or cocktail of prawn and bonga fish. This pool is home to some monsters, especially on the incoming tide. Our next stop is the mangroves around Pelican Island, surprisingly some of the biggest fish are quite happy to frequent water that is only a couple of feet deep. Spinning into the mangroves, or allowing the livebait to run free are the best methods. By now it is time for a good lunch which has been prepared by the Abraham, Alex, and Pa in their riverside restataurant at Kartung. Perhaps they will cook up some of our catch.
In the afternoon we head up river, trolling livebait and stopping at our favourite pools. In all we will travel about 5 miles crossing in and out of Senegal as the river snakes inland. You will see the villages, the women gathering creek oysters, and the local fishermen with handlines. This is the real Gambia that most tourists never see.
Gambia River Safari £40 per person :
The River Gambia runs for nearly 1000 miles, is one of the most important waterways in West Africa, and the reason the country is so fertile. Our day will be spent among the mangroves and sandbanks north of the capitol Banjul near to Lamin Lodge where we will take our lunch. Like The Everglades in Florida it is not only is the fishing superb, the vegitation and wildlife are spectacular.
